We believe in Fresh and quality local food
At Affè di Bacco, freshness and authenticity are the order of the day! We stock our restaurant and pizzeria with top-quality products from our farm in Pozzolatico, just a few minutes from Florence, and from other selected local suppliers.
The cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil you find on our tables, for example, comes from here and is produced with passion, harvested by hand from the 500 olive trees on our farm.
Since we acquired a plot of land in Pozzolatico, with abandoned vineyards and olive groves, we have rolled up our sleeves, all of us, and in three years we have managed to bring the plants back into production, producing oil (Morellino and Frantoiano) and wine (Sangiovese red and Trebbiano white). In 2019, we created two vegetable gardens, from which we can harvest the fruits of the earth, which we then bring to our tables:
tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, onions, zucchini, eggplant, radicchio, black cabbage, and whatever else is needed for our dishes.
We are the first to guarantee the quality of our products, taking care of their growth thanks to our agronomist Sara (who is also the manager of the Gavinana restaurant), all cultivated in the old-fashioned way, without herbicides or other chemicals.
